Terms of Use

Terms of use governing access to and use of the secuaas.com website (effective June 1, 2026).

Effective date / last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Publisher identification

The website available at "secuaas.com" (the "Site") is published and operated by 9463-7220 Québec inc., doing business as "Les entreprises Secuaas", a business corporation incorporated under the Business Corporations Act (CQLR, c. S-31.1), registered in the Quebec enterprise register under Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) 1177504777, with its head office at 336 rue Jeanne-d’Arc, Québec (Québec) G1S 2R7, Canada ("SecuAAS", "we" or "our").

For any question about the Site, contact us at info@secuaas.com. Requests concerning personal information must be addressed to the person in charge of the protection of personal information, in accordance with section 9 of the Privacy Policy.

2. Hosting and data location

The Site and SecuAAS’s cloud infrastructure are hosted by OVH Hosting Inc. (OVHcloud) at its data centre located in Beauharnois, Province of Quebec, Canada. Except with explicit consent or where technically necessary as described in this policy, data associated with the operation of the Site is kept in Canada.

3. Purpose and acceptance

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Site as a commercial and informational showcase. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read the Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not accept the Terms, you must stop using the Site.

The Terms constitute a contract of adhesion within the meaning of article 1379 of the Civil Code of Québec (CQLR, c. CCQ-1991), their essential stipulations having been determined by SecuAAS and not freely negotiable. In accordance with articles 1435 and 1437 of the Civil Code of Québec, no external, illegible, incomprehensible or abusive clause may be set up against the user.

4. Distinction between the Site and the SaaS products

The sole purpose of the Site is to present SecuAAS and its software-as-a-service offering (SecuScan, SecuFile, SecuSIEM, SecuMon, SecuAI Gateway and related modules), to publish informational content (home page, blog, comparisons, dynamic pricing) and to allow newsletter subscription and the free domain scan ("Free EASM Domain Scan").

Use of SecuAAS’s SaaS products is governed by separate agreements (notably the client agreement, partner agreements, usage authorizations and the artificial-intelligence usage agreement). These Terms grant no right of access or licence to the SaaS products. In case of conflict, the product agreements prevail over these Terms with respect to the products they cover.

SecuAAS’s SaaS products are offered exclusively to businesses, for commercial purposes, and are not intended for consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act (CQLR, c. P-40.1).

5. Definitions

"Site Content" means all text, marks, logos, graphics, comparisons, pricing and other items published on the Site. "User" means any person who accesses the Site. "Personal information" means any information that relates to a natural person and allows that person to be identified, directly or indirectly, within the meaning of section 2 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1).

6. Access and availability

SecuAAS endeavours to keep the Site accessible, without warranty of continuous or error-free availability. SecuAAS may at any time and without notice modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Site, including for maintenance, security or technical reasons. The contractual availability of the SaaS products (service levels) is addressed exclusively in the product agreements.

7. Intellectual property

The Site Content is owned by SecuAAS or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42) and the Trademarks Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. T-13). Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without SecuAAS’s prior written authorization is prohibited. Browsing the Site grants no assignment or licence of these rights, other than the right to consult the Content for personal and lawful purposes.

8. Informational content, comparisons and pricing

The Site Content, including comparisons and dynamic pricing, is provided for indicative and informational purposes. Displayed prices may vary and do not constitute a firm offer within the meaning of article 1388 of the Civil Code of Québec; only prices confirmed in a product agreement bind SecuAAS. Comparisons reflect SecuAAS’s assessment as at the date of publication and are neither professional advice nor a warranty. The free domain scan and the newsletter are provided "as is", without warranty, and their use entails acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

The Site Content is provided for informational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, SecuAAS excludes all liability as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the Content, and as to indirect damages, including loss of profits, data or reputation, arising from access to or use of the Site.

In accordance with article 1474 of the Civil Code of Québec, SecuAAS may not exclude or limit its liability for bodily or moral injury caused to another person, nor exclude or limit its liability for material injury caused by an intentional or gross fault. These limitations are construed accordingly and do not affect any right of public order. Limitations specific to the SaaS products are set out in the product agreements.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law applicable in the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Subject to rules of public order, any dispute relating to the Site falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the competent judicial district in Quebec.

11. Language

In accordance with section 55 of the Charter of the French Language (CQLR, c. C-11), these Terms, which constitute a contract of adhesion, are drawn up in French. An English version is made available to the User. A User who wishes to be bound by the English version has examined the French version and expresses its express wish to be bound by the English version. In case of discrepancy and to the extent permitted by law, the French version prevails.

12. Amendments

SecuAAS may amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time of access. It is the User’s responsibility to consult the Terms regularly.

13. Contact

For any question: SecuAAS, by email at info@secuaas.com (general) or dpo@secuaas.com (personal information). Any person may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
